• Cool Members can hide their polls from APC's Directory.  Great if you are running a poll on your site, and don't want outside influence

How to Become a Cool Member

All you need to do is get 3,000 popularity points, and then send an email telling me you would like to be a Cool Member. I will upgrade you for free.  Make sure you include your username, and that you want the free upgrade for hitting 3,000 points. Getting 3,000 points may sound like a lot, but really it's less than an hour of voting at most. Check the point value on the right menu. Points are often worth as much as 100 per vote. You could get 3,000 points in ten minutes that way.  By the way, you get 500 just for joining.

Cool Members are Cool Because

They participate. They vote, they create polls, they make the site alive. Imagine all those polls without any votes. Not very cool. Try spending just 10 minutes voting, and then see how many points you have. Depending on how many points the votes are worth that day (see top right of site) you could already have enough points. If not, vote on a few more. It really doesn't take that much, and every vote is well appreciated.

Upgraded Members also get to include a link to their favorite website in their profile which is on all of their polls. Sponsored text links cannot lead to sites that have:  sexually explicit, auto installing adware, hate, or any material perceived as unfit for a general public audience.
